Nicaragua
Nicaragua produces primarily Arabica coffee varieties. Arabica grows best in the country’s highland regions, where volcanic soils and a mild climate create ideal conditions for rich flavor development. Coffee farming is mostly carried out by smallholder farmers and cooperatives, often using traditional and sustainable methods. Many farmers interplant coffee with other crops or maintain shade-grown systems, supporting environmental sustainability and local ecosystems
